ManipalBlog.com was started in 2007 by two medical students from Kasturba Medical College in Manipal as a hobby project. They aimed to showcase the true essence of Manipal and what the University town has to offer to the world. Over the years, the blog has grown to include more than 60 contributors from various institutes such as Manipal Institute of Technology, T.A. Pai Management Institute, Manipal Institute of Communication, Manipal College of Dental Sciences, and more.

The blog covers a wide range of topics, with contributors sharing their experiences, opinions, and insights on Manipal and the world at large. It is a platform created by Manipal students for Manipal students, with the goal of helping readers explore, express, lose, and find themselves in Manipal.
